Lemon sharks, Negaprion brevirostris, at the surface. Grand Bahama, Bahamas . Lemon shark belongs to the family Carcharhinidae. Listed by the IUCN as a Near threatened species. The shark's yellow colouring is a camouflage when swimming over the sandy seafloor. Length of 2-3,5 m and weigh up to 180 kg.
