Anklamer Stadtbruch Nature Reserve, is a vast 1 500 hectare wilderness area of shallow pools, moor and boggy peatland located south of where the Peene River enters the Szczecin Lagoon. Home to numerous rare and iconic species, such as the white-tailed eagle, Eurasian crane, otter, beaver and moor frog.
