It is strategically located on one of the ecological crossroads in Europe. The wild jigsaw of habitats includes rivers, heathlands, deltas, marshes, vast reed beds, forests, wild grasslands and bogs. IThe Oder Delta is rich in biodiversity as well as biomass.
